Fix for HMC Version 7 Release 3.5.0

This package includes fixes for HMC Version 7 Release 3.5.0. You can reference this package by APAR MB03495.

This fix must be installed on the following installation:

List of fixes for MH01259

This package includes the following fixes:
General

    * Fixed an issue whereby credentials used for LPAR-specific Performance Management or software inventory data are not properly refreshed when they expire. This issue affects call home reporting.
    * Fixed a "Transmit Service Information" panel issue where updates to the schedule information are not preserved when the user exits this panel.
    * Fixed a ViosUtils::setStoragePool exception seen during mksysplan creation on a managed server that has at least one VIOS LPAR. The exception occurred during disk validation on a VIOS partition.
    * Fixed several security issues on HMC.
    * Resolved the problem of an exception occurring during a Scheduler operations change in time of day (AM/PM).

Repair and Verify

    * Fixed an issue that caused a CEC DCA replace to fail with message HSCL8018.
    * Resolved an HTML Viewer Error by changing the mapping of symbolic FRUs to point to the correct location for InfoCenter documentation on the HMC.
    * Fixed the FHA/FHB midplane replacement instructions to include VPD card removal and installation steps.

Additional information
Notes:

   1. To burn the ISO image to media, you must use DVD-R media
   2. The HMC Install Corrective Service task has been modified to allow corrective service installation by using the .iso packaging of the corrective service files that you can download from IBM. There is no requirement to burn CD-R or DVD-R media to use these files to install the corrective service.

          * To install the updates over the network, select the .iso file in the Select Service Package panel of the Install Corrective Service utility.
          * To use USB flash media to install updates, copy the .iso file to the flash media, and then select the file when prompted.
   3. The updhmc command line command has also been modified to use the .iso file for installing corrective service updates. To use the command, follow the syntax in this example:
      updhmc -t s -h <myservername> -f </home/updates/corrrective_service.iso> -u <HMC_username> -i

In all cases, the HMC application extracts the files needed to install the corrective service.
