This package represents a service pack image that can be used to update your HMC from HMC V7R7.9.0  to HMC V7R7.9.0 Service Pack 1.  You can also reference this package by PTF MH01428 and  APAR MB03802 .  This image can be installed on top of HMC Version 7 Release 7.9.0 Recovery installation (MH01405) with or without additional PTFs installed.

This package provides the following fixes:

• Fixed an issue where ISD failed to discover and  connect to HMC using LDAP users that were automanaged
• Fixed an issue with backup critical console data across ftp that could result in failure HSCLA50C An unknown FTP/SFTP error occurred.
  
• Fixed an issue where the HMC would call home SRC E3550037 during VIOS lpar activation.
  
• Fixed an issue with ssh where it would be disabled after a Service Pack is installed
  
• Fixed an issue where LPM migration reported a  failure due to IBM.LparCmdRM subsystem having crashed on the HMC and could result in error 2610-425 Cannot execute the command on node x.x.x.x  The node is not currently in the cluster.
  
• Fixed "an issue that prevented deletion of a HMC user
  
• Fixed an issue with save current config when AME changes are made dynamically
  
• Fixed a lssyscfg -r lpar --osrefresh erroneous error message of 2610-443 A class action for class IBM.LparCmd is not defined on node.
  
• Fixed a problem where save upgrade data did not properly save static routes.
  
• Fixed a problem where the lshwres command to view virtual scsi topology may miss some devices in a large system. 
  
• Fixed an issue where deleting the last virtual ethernet adapter on a network did not delete the virtual network causing attempts to delete the virtual switch to fail with HSCL2689. HMC will now delete the virtual network object when the last virtual ethernet adapter on the network is deleted.
  
• Fixed a problem where the pegasus (CIMOM) server may crash when attempting to deliver notification to IBM i subscribers. 
  
• Fixed a problem where the GUI may stop updating lpar and cec state changes; requiring a reboot to recover.
  
• Fixed an issue with  updating GUI panels when using Internet Explorer set to Japanese locale.
  
• Fixed a problem where some model 7042-CR7s with 7216-TF4 monitors may experience graphics issues such as screen rolling. 
  
• Fixed a problem where a query for Processor Pool information to the pegasus server returned incorrect values for the reserved value.
  
• Fixed a problem where HMC may report serviceable event E212E161 or eventually hang when SNMP traps are enabled.
  
• Fixed a timing issue where a server may incorrectly show a state of "Version Mismatch" when it should show "No Connection".
  
• Fixed a problem where a query for some lslparutil events incorrectly returned "No results were found".
  
• Fixed a problem where the updhmc command prints an uneeded iptables listing to the terminal session.
  

Repair and Verify Fixes for POWER Systems

• Fixed an issue during an AC line repair that may return error HSCL3077: This operation is not allowed in the Frame's current state.
  
• Fixed an issue when performing Concurrent Maintenance Opration on the PowerDomain containing SRIOV Adapters in shared mode will fail to Vary On the resources if any of the adapters in SR-IOV mode doesn't have the VFs configured.

Security

• Removed RC4 weak ciphers

Note:  During the installation the message "package pmc.sem.war is not installed" appears in the "Install Corrective Service Progress" window:  

"...
package pmc.sem.war is not installed
Corrective service installation was successful."

This message is not an error and can be ignored.
