To resolve the problem, remove the "RemoteAccessFile.Test" from the remote directory, then execute the backup operation again. General fixes * Fixed a problem where the backup critical console task using sFTP fails with error HSCP0198 when the sftp server does not support the df command. * Fixed a rare exception that results in serviceable event E3321024 and prevents call home from working until an HMC reboot. * Fixed a problem that occurs after a Power enterprise pool has been recovered (using *chcodpool -o recover*) when all of the servers in the pool configuration file used to do the recover are not connected to the master HMC. This problem causes no servers to be displayed on the Power enterprise pool GUI processor and memory resource pages and causes the *lscodpool --level sys -F command* to fail if compliance information is requested. * Fixed an issue where a serviceable event customer notification is not sent when the callhome fails. * Fixed an issue with partition attention LED not deactivating properly in GUI. * Fixed an issue where the call home data (iqyymrge.log) did not contain the event that triggered the call home. * Fixed a deadlock condition leading to "Too many open files" and performance issues on the HMC resulting in repeated logging of SRCs E35A0016 AND E35A0017. * Fixed an issue where displaying server utilization snapshot data incorrectly included hourly data. * Fixed R&V instructions on POWER8 models MME and MHE during disruptive repairs to remove power from the front of CEC drawers instead of rear. * Fixed a problem where lslparutil may not return all data for the date range specified. * Fixed an issue where the HMC Format media task may not detect a working USB flash drive a possible target for the format operation. * Fixed an issue where rmsysconn appeared to succeed, but the connection persisted after reboot. * Fixed an issue with Repair & Verify code sync for dual FSP servers that could cause a failure of "/Exception text(0):Caught the following exception verifying if FSP code levels match: com.ibm.sfp.updates.core.PIUpdateException: getPlatformCurrIplSide returned null/" * Fixed an issue with sysplan creation failing with error "/setVirtualFCs , Exception Occurred - Message: null Cause: null"/ * Fixed an issue with customer notify no longer working for the Scheduled Software Information transmissions. * Fixed an issue with HMCs previously upgraded from Version 7 that then attempt a network from 830 to 840. After running chhmc with altdiskboot and rebooting, the HMC would boot up normally instead of from the network install image * Fixed an issue where running some HMC commands while IBM i partitions are powering on or off may result in multiple B7005120 informational log entries in IBM i PAL. * Fixed an issue where logging on with a user profile created at an earlier release may result in serviceable event E35F0010 and some user profile properties being reset to their defaults. * Fixed a problem where attempting to use chhmc CLI to remove firewall access to a service with more then one port fails stating "/Firewall rule not removed; rule does not exist./" * Fixed a rare issue that can result in serviceable event E35A0007. * Fixed a problem that may result in serviceable events E3690102, E3550996, E3550103 and E3550101 being generated during PTF installation. Security Fixes * Fixed a security issue with the HMC restricted shell * Fixed a Java security issue: CVE-2016-0448 * Fixed a security vulnerability in glibc: CVE-2015-7547) Back to top <#ibm-content> Installation For the latest updates, please see the Readme file for HMC V8 R8.3.0 available at IBM Fix Central .
