Disk storage capacity is statically defined at the time of the VM creation and prior to installing the vHMC. * *mkauthkeys *command will fail on an HMC when ssh banner is enabled. As a workaround, disable ssh banner before using *mkauthkeys *command. * Security restrictions: o *In NIST mode*: + The RMC code on partition does not support two HMC connections with mixed configuration, i.e., one HMC running in NIST mode and other HMC running in non-NIST mode. Both the HMCs must be in the same mode. In addition, if any HMC is managing a vHMC running on PowerVM, then the vHMC security mode must match the managing HMC’s security mode. o *In non-NIST mode*: + Following ciphers are not supported although the available cipher list shows them. TLS_RSA_FIPS_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA Note this function is fully supported for all other Power systems assuming that the appropriate HMC, firmware and PowerVM levels installed. New Function * Enable support for the E980 system, MTM: 9080-M9S * Enhanced vHMC on PowerVM to enable RMC connection, so that another HMC can be used to communicate via RMC and perform actions such as DLPAR, LPM, etc. on a vHMC running on PowerVM. List of fixes *General fixes* * Fixed an issue that caused / (root file system) to fill up due to heapdumps and report service event E212E136. * Fixed an issue where opening multiple vterm applets fail intermittently after the first vterm is opened. * Updated power mode descriptions in the "Power Management" UI Panel to more closely track the descriptions found in ASMI. * Fixed an issue with changing the IP address of sl0 interface using the *chhmc *command. * Fixed an issue that can cause /var to fill and report service event E212E134 due to improper log rotation of journald logs * Fixed an issue that can cause /var to fill up and report service event E212E134. This is due to a log rotation policy issue for ssl and httpd logs * Fixed an issue that caused /var to fill up and report service event E212E134 when the cloud connector process is running. * Fixed an issue that can cause /var/hsc/log to fill up and report service event E212E13D under heavy use of REST APIs due to incorrect log rotation of credmgr.log. * Changed the Managed Server Icon in GUI dashboard for the E950 system. * Fixed an issue of the loss of the data in the 'allow specified VLAN ID's' fields in the Advanced properties of SRIOV Logical port. The field is lost if the 'cancel' button is selected. Selecting 'ok' works correctly. * Disabled ports 5024 and 5028 in the firewall. These ports were introduced in M920 Service Pack 0. *Security Fixes* * Addressed glibc vulnerabilities: CVE-2017-15670, CVE-2017-12132, CVE-2015-5180, and CVE-2014-9402 * Addressed Kernel vulnerabilities: CVE-2018-1000004, CVE-2018-6927, CVE-2017-1000410, CVE-2017-1000407, CVE-2017-18017, CVE-2017-15126, CVE-2017-15116, and CVE-2016-8633 Command Line Changes * New options have been added to the *saveupgdata *and *rstupgdata *commands to facilitate migration from an x86 HMC to a Power HMC.
