This fix pack updates the IBM System Dashboard for Enterprise Content Management product (previously known as IBM FileNet System Manager). It consists of several parts:
The IBM System Dashboard tools are useful for performance monitoring and usage data collection for customers who use the IBM Enterprise Content Management family of products.
The following changes are introduced in this 5.0.0.6-P8SD-FP006 Fix Pack:
Note: 5.0.0.5-P8SD-FP005 uses Apache Derby v10.8.3, which is NOT vulnerable to CVE-2018-1313, since the vulnerability only affects up to and including Derby v10.14.1. Apache Derby v10.14.2 is not vulnerable to CVE-2018-1313.
Note about the Derby database version after upgrading to 5.0.0.6-P8SD-FP006 and Apache Derby v10.14.2.0.

For example, A Derby database created using PCH 5.0.0.5 (Derby 10.8.3). Doing a "Soft" (i.e. no) upgrade. Connect to the database using PCH 5.0.0.6 (Derby 10.14.2), the version of the database returned by the SQL command will still be 10.8, not 10.14.
Recommendation:
This version of PCH, 5.0.0.6-P8SD-FP006, does not depend on new Derby features. Compatibility of older versions of PCH or Derby software with existing Derby databases may be important for some customers. The "Soft" upgrade option will provide the most flexibility for customers who wish to continue using older versions of PCH or Derby.
Any Derby databases newly created using 5.0.0.6-P8SD-FP006 will be database version 10.14, and they will not be compatible with older versions of PCH or Derby.

Concurrent licensing has a limit on content and workflow operations for each concurrent user. If your system uses more than the allotted number of operations, then additional concurrent user licenses must be purchased. The System Dashboard ILMT tools have been updated to provide information that will help validate the number of content and workflow operations performed on your system.

With 5.0.0.3-P8SD-FP003 and higher, Delivery is a zip file instead of a full installer
As in the previous fix pack, this version includes a full version of the System Dashboard. You do not need to install any previous versions to install this fix pack. This fix pack is delivered as a zip file that contains all of the files needed for the Dashboard and related tools.
As in the previous fix pack, users must edit Dashboard.bat or Dashboard.sh file to accept the user license
In previous versions of the System Dashboard, you would accept the user license as part of the installation process. Since an installer is no longer used, you must now indicate acceptance of the license file by modifying the Dashboard.bat or Dashboard.sh file. At the end of the command line, you add the parameter AcceptLicense to indicate that the license for System Dashboard has been accepted. The Dashboard.bat and Dashboard.sh files contain an example of the command line with the license acceptance added to the command line.

To download the fix pack:
Download the 5.0.0.6-P8SD-FP006.zip fix pack file from IBM Fix Central.
Use your standard backup procedure to create a backup of the current System Dashboard configuration. The backup is especially important if you want to protect any changes you have made to the System Dashboard installation directory, like a modified IlmtReporter.conf file, or an existing Derby database. If a problem occurs, you can use this backup to restore the System Dashboard to its original configuration.
Expand the zip file into a local directory. The .zip file contains all of the IBM System Dashboard programs, samples, libraries, and API documentation.
Edit the launch script to accept the user license as described above. If you previously customized any files such as the launch file or IlmtReporter.conf, modify the newly installed files using your backup as a reference.
Delete the below files and directories (if they are present) to remove old unused files.

To uninstall this fix pack you can simply delete the directory where the files were expanded to. No further steps are required.
