Rational Insight implements standard measurements, reports, and dashboards. It leverages Web architecture to extract data from distributed systems to generate live and historical cross-product reports. Data is retrieved from sources using the REST architecture or through direct database access and is presented effectively through a Web-based portal and a business intelligence reporting tool.
