You can use IBM® Installation Manager to
uninstall packages that you installed with Installation
Manager.
Before you begin
You must log in with a user account that has the same privileges
as the account that was used to install the packages that you want
to uninstall.
About this task
You can uninstall packages from a single package group or
you can uninstall all installed packages from every package group.
Procedure
To uninstall packages:
- Close programs that you installed with Installation
Manager.
- In Installation
Manager,
click Uninstall.
- In the Uninstall wizard, select the packages to uninstall.
To uninstall every package from every package group on your computer,
click Select all. Information on
the translations and architecture for the package are shown.
- Click Next.
- On Windows, Installation
Manager checks
for running processes. If processes are blocking the uninstall, a
list of these processes is shown. You must stop these processes before
you continue the uninstall. Click Stop All Blocking Processes.
If there are no processes that must be stopped, you do
not see this list. The running processes lock files that must be accessed
or modified by Installation
Manager.
- On the Summary page, review your selections.
Click Back to change your selections. If you
are satisfied with your choices, click Uninstall.
- When the uninstallation process finishes, the Complete page
opens and confirms the uninstallation process.
