1. UPDATE INFORMATION

Please visit https://developer.ibm.com/javasdk/support/fixes/sdk7/ for information on latest updated and bulletins.


2. DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

Note: If you are only able to see these instructions when downloading from Fix Central, please modify the download settings as follow:
    1) On the download page after viewing and accepting the terms, under Download options, click "Change download options".
    2) Check "Include prerequisites and co-requisite fixes (you can select the ones you need later)"
    3) Click "Continue".

You should now be able to to see the section "Below are the requisite fixes for this fix.". You may now download the JDK directly.

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

    Upgrading the JDK for RMC Client

   1) Close RMC Client

   2) Navigate to the original install directory and rename the JDK folder:
        <InstallDir>/jdk
            to
        <InstallDir>/jdk-Original

        This will ensure that the original JDK is kept as a backup in the event a restore is required.
        Example (Linux): mv <OrigInstallDir>/jdk <OrigInstallDir>jdk-Original

   3) Unzip the new JDK file provided by support to the Installation directory.
        Example (Linux):  unzip <newInsallZip> -d <InstallDir>/

   4) Rename the unzipped sdk folder to jdk, example:
      <InstallDir>/ibm-java-i386-70
            to
      <InstallDir>/jdk

   5) Restart eclipse.exe or rmc.exe
