IBM® Rational® Programming Patterns 9.6.2 iFix 3

 

 

Purpose

 

This Interim Fix applies to IBM® Rational® Programming Patterns 9.6.2.

 

Installation prerequisites

 

This update requires that you have already installed one of the packages listed in the above section.

 

Installation instructions

 

Rational Programming Patterns Client

 

1. Extract RPP962_iFix003_Client.zip to a temporary directory. 

 

For example, on Windows:

c:\temp

 

2. Installation Manager Updates

 

Start Installation Manager and add the "diskTag.inf" file path (of the sub directory "disk1") in the Repositories list of the Preference tool of Installation Manager

For example:

c:\temp\RPP962_iFix003Client\disk1\diskTag.inf

 

Click OK and go back to the Installation Manager main page.

 

3. Installation:

 

On Installation Manager, click on "Update" and choose the Package to update then follow the Installation Instructions.

 

 

Rational Programming Patterns Server

 

1. Extract RPP962_iFix003_Server.zip to a temporary directory. 

 

For example, on Windows:

c:\temp

 

2. Installation Manager Updates

 

Start Installation Manager and add the "diskTag.inf" file path (of the sub directory "disk1") in the Repositories list of the Preference tool of Installation Manager

For example:

c:\temp\RPP962_iFix003Server\disk1\diskTag.inf

 

Click OK and go back to the Installation Manager main page.

 

3. Installation:

 

On Installation Manager, click on "Update" and choose the Package to update then follow the Installation Instructions.

 

Associated level of Pacbase

It is recommended to use the Migration procedures packages provided in RPP 9.6.2 iFix 2 when working on the migration process from Pacbase to RPP.

Another evolution in this iFix

In this iFix, the INDENT property has been renamed IDT. As a reminder, this property can be entered in the declaration line of a micropattern to indent the micropattern generated lines.
