4.1 IBM Rational Test RealTime.To install IBM Rational Test RealTime please refer to the Installation Guide located in the TESTRT_SETUP/documentation/en folder.
4.2 IBM Rational Test RealTime for Eclipse IDE update site.IBM Rational Test RealTime for Eclipse IDE update site v8.3.1-ifix1 has supported integration with Eclipse 4.7.3 up to Eclipse 2020-06 (4.16).
Installing IBM Rational Test RealTime for Eclipse IDE in your current eclipse requires some dependencies that you will have to download and install from the eclipse.org update site.
Those dependencies are :
In order to have them installed in your current eclipse installation, please follow those steps:
- EMF - Eclipse Modeling Framework SDK
- Graphical Editing Framework GEF SDK
- C/C++ Development Tools
- Go to Help -> Install new software
- In the "Work with" selection drop down, choose "--All Available Sites--".
- Once the list of available modules is populated, choose the following:
In the "Modelling" group, select:In the "Programming Language" group, select:
- EMF - Eclipse Modeling Framework SDK
- GEF (MVC) SDK
- C/C++ Development Tools
- click next , accept the license agreements, then click "Install".
- when asked to restart the workbench, do so.
- you can now install IBM Rational Test RealTime for eclipse IDE using the update site
