Description
This fix is for a vulnerability in the Apache Log4j 2.x library used by KnowledgeCenter tool in Rhapsody.

Fix
The affected component in KnowledgeCenter tool kc.war has been updated to include a newer version 2.16.0 of Apache Log4j that fixes the vulnerability.

HOW TO APPLY THIS FIX
*Windows*
1) Install IBM Rational Rhapsody 8.4 or 9.0 or 9.0.1 for Windows (If you have already done this you do not need to reinstall).
2) Make sure Rhapsody and KnowledgeCenter are not running.
3) Go to the folder Doc\KnowledgeCenter\runtime\app under your Rhapsody install directory and move kc.war to a safe place.
4) Go to the folder Doc\KnowledgeCenter\server\wlp\usr\servers\kc\workarea and delete all contents except .sLock file.
5) Copy the new kc.war provided with the fix to Doc\KnowledgeCenter\runtime\app under your Rhapsody install directory.
