ELM 7.0.2 SR1 iFix015 is available with Log4j2 updates. This interim fix requires full installation and is the prerequisite for future incremental interim fixes. For more information, see IBM Support portal.

This release of Engineering Lifecycle Management contains new features, quality improvements, and updates to supported platforms, as described in the system requirements.

The log4j version 1 vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-4104 and related CVE-2022-23307, CVE-2022-23305, CVE-2022-23302 etc) in IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) is being mitigated in ELM version 7.0.2 in Service Release 1 (SR1).

With an installation of IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz) 15.0.2, 15.0.3, 15.0.4, or 15.0.5, installed with IBM Installation Manager or as Eclipse p2, a shell sharing installation of IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) 7.0.1 or 7.0.2 can fail. Messages about issues with the Apache http client or http core files can be found in the log.
