JRE 8.0.6.5 Update for IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Web Access 9.7.x (Installation only)

1. Back up the current JRE directory available on your machine.
   The location of the JRE should be in "Path" environment variable.
   For example C:\Program Files\IBM\Java80\jre.

2. Extract the new JRE at the same location as your current JRE.

3. Ensure that the "JAVA_HOME" environment variable is set to the JRE install path.
   For example C:\Program Files\IBM\Java80\jre.

4. Install IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Web Access.

5. Download and upgrade to the latest version of JRE (8.0.7.20) from the fixcentral.


Note: IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Web Access Installation software, InstallAnywhere, is not compatible with the latest version of JRE. JRE (8.0.6.5) is required only to install IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Web Access. We recommend you to upgrade the version of JRE to 8.0.7.20 for using it with IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Web Access 9.7.2.7.
