Elastic Storage System 3000 - ver ess3000_6.0.0_1205-20_dme
This package provides a podman container with necessary key components
such as RHEL 8.0, Spectrum Scale RAID, MOFED, various component firmware for
Elastic Storage System 3000 (ess3k). The versions are shown as example.

Release_note.ess3000_6.0.0_1205-20_dme
ess3000_6.0.0_1205-20_dme.tar is a saved container image pre-installed, configured
and ready to run with following:
- UBI7
- xCAT
- Ansible
It also contains repositories that can be used to install and upgrade ESS 3000
IO Servers/Canisters.
- RHEL 8.0
- Mellanox OFED iso
- IBM Spectrum Scale RAID
- Tools and ess scripts
essmgr is a python wrapper script that facilitate creating the network and
running the container.
podmon directory contains all needed packages to install podman in a ESS EMS node.
You can use the add_podman_repo.sh provided in the rpm zip file to add as yum repo.
Podman is pre-installed in the EMS node.
Canister firmware: FW version 1111 (2.02.000_0B0G_1.73_FB300052_0C32.official)
RHEL 8.0 Kernel version: 4.18.0-80.el8.x86_64
You must have following in the kernel command line option (get set automatically if
you deploy from the container).

MOFED: MLNX_OFED_LINUX-4.6-3.1.9.1-rhel8.0-x86_64.iso
Firmware: 16.25.4062
mofed is installed as part of the deployment postboot step. It can be also installed by
running /xcatpost/ess_ofed.ess3k in target canister.
