IMS RTA Exceptions attributes

Use the IMS RTA Exceptions attributes to create table views, charts, and situations that monitor Response Time Analysis exceptions (ARSP).

Average Res Time The average response time, in seconds. Valid format is an integer.

Exception Threshold The threshold when exceptions traps, in seconds. Valid format is an integer.

Input IMS The name of the input IMS. Valid format consists of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

IMSID The IMS Subsystem identifier. Valid format consists of up to 4 alphanumeric characters, for example, IMSA.

Item Name Name of the RTA item. Valid format consists of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

MVS System The MVS System Management Facility (SMF) identifier. Valid format consists of up to four alphanumeric characters, for example, SP11.

Originating System Identifier Fully identifies the originating IMS subsystem. Valid format consists of up to 32 alphanumeric characters, for example, I91A:SP22:IMS.

RTA Exception Type Indicates the type of exception, including Input Time, Program Input Time, Processing Time, Output Time, R0 Response Time, R1 Response Time, Input CQS Time, Output CQS Time, and Local Output Time.

Note: Fields relating to Input CQS have been deprecated and removed from the display in Response Time Analysis workspaces.

RTA Group Number An identification number of an RTA group. Valid format is an integer.

RTA Item Type Indicates the type of RTA item (LTERM, Group, PSB, or Class).

Sequence Number Sequence number field (for limiting number records returned). Valid format is an integer.

Sysplex Identifier Identifies the sysplex this request originated from. Valid format consists of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

Timestamp The date and time when the monitoring agent retrieved the data.
