DESCRIPTION

This patch contains enhancements for IBM Security Virtual Server Protection
for VMware 1.1.1.0.

Details
--------

This patch fixes the issue where the anti-rookit module of the 
Virtual Server Protection (VSP) 1.1.1.0 fails to monitor the virtual 
machine for malicious rootkits.

This update is applicable only to:
IBM Security Virtual Server Protection for VMware 1.1.1.0


APPLYING THE UPDATE
=====================================================================
To apply the update: (all steps performed with root permissions)
 
1. Unzip the 1.1.1.0-ISS-VSP-svm-FP001.zip file.

2. Copy the file 1.1.1-ISS-VSP-svm-FP001.sh that was extracted from step 1
   to the /root directory of the SVM.

3. From the /root directory, run the patch installation script:
   sh 1.1.1-ISS-VSP-svm-FP001.sh

4. Wait for the patch to finish installing.
