  • ABOUT THIS FIX

    This iFix contains interim fixes for issues found in the IBM Security Access Manager for Enterprise Single Sign-On AccessAgent software. This iFix is only applicable to ISAM ESSO AccessAgent 8.2 GA version 8.2.0.0501 with interim fix and fix packs earlier than version 8.2.0.3462. This iFix is cumulative, it will include other fixes released after ISAM ESSO AccessAgent 8.2 GA version 8.2.0.0501.

  • APARS AND DEFECTS FIXED

    Problems fixed in AccessAgent by this iFix:

    • APAR IV42411

      Symptom: Right click on AATray(system tray) sometimes not working

    • APAR IV39828

      Symptom: Bio-key device sometimes loses connection to AA

    • APAR IV40442

      Symptom: If IE is launched before network provider finishes logging in, it causes an IE crash

  • BEFORE INSTALLING THIS FIX

    Make sure that you have installed AccessAgent version 8.2.0.0501 with interim fix and fix packs earlier than version 8.2.0.3462 on the target computer.

  • INSTALLING THIS FIX

    This iFix includes a 32-bit and 64-bit installer. Follow these steps to install the iFix for both 32-bit and 64-bit.

    1. Download the 8.2.0-ISS-SAMESSO-AA-IF0026_32.msp or 8.2.0-ISS-SAMESSO-AA-IF0026_64.msp file from http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/ into your computer.
    2. Double-click the 8.2.0-ISS-SAMESSO-AA-IF0026_32.msp or 8.2.0-ISS-SAMESSO-AA-IF0026_64.msp. to start the installation. The progress bar is displayed.
    3. The Install ISAM ESSO AccessAgent window is displayed with the message ISAM ESSO AccessAgent is configured on your computer successfully.
    4. Click Finish.
    5. Restart your computer for the configuration changes to take effect.
  • AFTER INSTALLING THIS FIX
    Right-click the AccessAgent tray icon in the system tray, and then select About ISAM ESSO AccessAgent. The AccessAgent version is displayed.
    • If you successfully installed AccessAgent version 8.2 iFix 26, the AccessAgent version is updated to 8.2.0.3462 Maintenance Level IF0026.
    You can also follow these steps:
    1. On your Windows desktop, click Start > Control Panel.
    2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
    3. Select the Show updates check box.
    4. Under ISAM ESSO AccessAgent:
      • If you successfully installed AccessAgent version 8.2 iFix 26, the AccessAgent version is updated to 8.2 iFix 26 (build 3462).
