Download IBM Security Directory Integrator Version 7.2.0 Fix Pack 1 from http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/ or access the fix from the table below.

• SDI v7.2 FP1 documentation can be accessed at the Knowledge Center.

• SDI 7.2.0 GA should be installed.

• Rollback

The rollback operation does not rollback the newly added files by the fix pack installer. The following files are not removed by the rollback operation.

Installation Information

Steps to install fixpack for all Platforms.

• Shut down SDI.
• Download the 7.2.0-ISS-SDI-FP0001.zip and unzip the contents in any preferred folder.
• Copy the file UpdateInstaller.jar from the fixpack package and replace the copy in the SDI_install_dir\maintenance directory.
• On Windows:
  • Execute the following command SDI_install_dir\bin\applyUpdates.bat -update SDI-7.2-FP0001.zip .
• On Unix :
  • Execute the following command SDI_install_dir/bin/applyUpdates.sh -update SDI-7.2-FP0001.zip .
• This should install the fixpack successfully. Once Fixpack is installed, user will see the appropriate message on the command prompt.

Performing the necessary tasks after fix pack installation

• Post Install steps for FDS

• Backup existing files.


• When SDI_install_dir = SDI_solution_dir.


Copy the new LDAPSync.xml from SDI_install_dir\LDAPSync dir to SDI_solution_dir\configs dir.


• When SDI install dir and SDI solution dir are different.


Copy the new LDAPSync.xml from SDI_install_dir\LDAPSync dir to SDI_solution_dir\configs dir.
Copy the following files from SDI_install_dir\LDAPSync to SDI_solution_dir\LDAPSync dir.

LDAPSync.xml
FDS_ISAM_Plugin.xml
FDS_ISAM_Plugin.map
container.map
QRadar.map
SNMP.map
customScript.js
IBM-FDS-MIB.txt

Copy the following files from the SDI_install_dir\SCIM to SDI_solution_dir\SCIM dir.

SCIM.xml
SCIM.properties.reference
ReadMe.txt



• New properties for SCIM connector can be referred to in SCIM.properties.reference file. This file must be used for updating the existing SCIM.properties.

• Verify Installation

• After the fix pack is installed, verify the Security Directory Integrator fix pack version installed on your system.
• Run the following command to verify the latest fix applied to Security Directory Integrator:
  • Unix/Linux: SDI_install_dir/bin/applyUpdates.sh -queryreg
  • Windows: SDI_install_dir\bin\applyUpdates.bat -queryreg
    

Steps for rolling back the latest Security Directory Integrator version 7.2.0 fixpack

• Unix/Linux: SDI_install_dir/bin/applyUpdates.sh -rollback
• Windows: SDI_install_dir\bin\applyUpdates.bat -rollback

Note : The rollback operation does not rollback the newly added files by the fix pack installer. Refer Rollback section under Known Issues.

New Connectors

The following new connectors have been added in SDI Fix pack 1.


• IBM Security Access Manager V2 Connector
• QRadar Connector

Uninstallation of New Connectors

• Uninstall Fix Pack 1. For details refer section Steps for rolling back the latest Security Directory Integrator version 7.2.0 fixpack.
  
• Go to SDI_install_Dir\jars\connectors directory. Manually delete jars QRadarConnector.jar, ISAMConnector.jar .
