Follow these steps:
1.
Use the latest Update Installer to install the interim
fix on your installation. Make sure that all of your servers, clusters, and the
deployment manager are stopped. None of the processes should be running when
you apply the interim fix.
2.
After the interim fix is applied - and if you do not
have any existing profiles - create new profiles. Because the interim fix
updates the EAR files and the class files, no manual steps are required. Installing
the interim fix is equivalent to a normal installation.
3.
If you have an existing profile that has Business Space
configured, from the administrative console, complete the following steps to
update the Business Space applications. The steps are the same whether you have
a stand-alone profile or a clustered environment.
a. Log in to the administrative console and navigate to Enterprise Applications.
b. Stop the applications "BusinessSpaceManager" and "IBM_BSPACE_WIDGETS". Make sure that the applications are stopped properly on all of the servers or clusters.
c. Select the "BusinessSpaceManager" application and click "Update". Select the option of updating the entire application.
d. In the path for the application, type <YOUR-INSTALL-FOLDER>\installableApps\BSpaceManager.ear. Select all of the defaults. Make sure that the "Map modules to servers" section shows the correct mapping for the Business Space Manager application. The mapping should be to all the servers or clusters where you configured Business Space. For a stand-alone profile scenario, the mapping is to one server of "server1". Make sure that the update completes without errors.
e. Select the "IBM_BSPACE_WIDGETS" application and click "Update". Select the option of updating the entire application.
f. In the path for the application, type <YOUR-INSTALL-FOLDER>\installableApps\BSpaceWidgets.ear. Save the application to a Master configuration. Allow time for the save process for the 60 MB file to complete. Do not click any links until it completes.
g. Synchronize the nodes if you are using a deployment environment or clustered environment. Allow time for all of the data - about 80 MB - to synchronize across multiple nodes.
h. Start the "BusinessSpaceManager" application and then start "IBM_BSPACE_WIDGETS". Make sure that no errors are returned during application startup.
i. Check that the Business Space console starts properly.
