1.0 ABOUT THIS README FILE

This README provides information about the patch available in this Interim Fix.

This fix can be installed on IBM Asset Inventory Management Services for WebSphere Sensor Events server 6.2.


2.0 INCLUDED IN THIS INTERIM FIX
---------------------------------

The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:

o  IC61675: Handheld client NullPointerExcpetion, Displayed application name, single password dialog.


3.0 INSTALLATION
-----------------

3.1 Prerequisites

o  It is assumed that IBM Asset Inventory Management Services for WebSphere Sensor Events server is already installed on the handheld device.


3.2 Installation Procedure

1. Unpack the zip file, IC61675.zip, to the WebSphere Sensor Events server folder: C:\Program Files\IBM\AVS\maintenance.  The zip file contains the files: 
     IBMSensorEvents-Intermec.Arm.CAB
     IC61675-readme.txt
     WebSphere_Sensor_Events_AIMS.IC61675.fxtag

2. Uninstall the previous handheld application as described in technote, "Uninstalling CAB files". This technote is available at:

3. Install the new CAB file as described in the information center, "Installing the client handheld application". These instructions are available at:

4. Copy the WebSphere_Sensor_Events_AIMS.IC61675.fxtag file to this WebSphere Sensor Events server folder: C:\Program Files\IBM\AVS\properties\version


4.0 UNINSTALLATION
-------------------
1. Uninstall the handheld application as described in technote, "Uninstalling CAB files". This technote is available at: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=4076&uid=swg21391727

2. Delete the file located at: C:\Program Files\IBM\AVS\properties\version\WebSphere_Sensor_Events_AIMS.IC61675.fxtag
