1.0 ABOUT THIS README FILE

This README provides information about the patch available in this Interim Fix.

This fix can be installed on WebSphere Sensor Events 6.2.


2.0 INCLUDED IN THIS INTERIM FIX
---------------------------------

The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:

o  IC62113: Unable to create nested locations in WSE admin console


3.0 INSTALLATION
-----------------

3.1 Prerequisites

o  You must have Administrator access to update WebSphere Sensor Events server.

o  It is assumed that WebSphere Sensor Events server is already installed.


3.2 Installation Procedure

1. Create a folder named "maintenance" under the WebSphere Sensor Events server directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID.

2. Unpack the zip file, IC62113.zip, to directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance.  The zip file contains the files: 
     dc_location_add.jsp
     DCLocationAction.class
     IC62113-readme.txt
     WebSphere_Sensor_Events.IC62113.fxtag

3. Create a folder named "backup" under directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62113.

4. Back up the following files to directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62113\backup:
o  <WAS_PROFILE>\installedApps\<WAS_CELL>\IBM_Premises_Admin_Console.ear\ibmrfid_admin_webui.war\web\dc_location\dc_location_add.jsp
o  <WAS_PROFILE>\installedApps\<WAS_CELL>\IBM_Premises_Admin_Console.ear\ibmrfid_admin_webui.war\WEB-INF\classes\com\ibm\rfid\action\admin\DCLocationAction.class

5. From directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62113:
o  Copy file dc_location_add.jsp to directory <WAS_PROFILE>\installedApps\<WAS_CELL>\IBM_WSE_Admin_Console.ear\ibmrfid_admin_webui.war\web\dc_location
o  Copy file DCLocationAction.class to directory <WAS_PROFILE>\installedApps\<WAS_CELL>\IBM_WSE_Admin_Console.ear\ibmrfid_admin_webui.war\WEB-INF\classes\com\ibm\rfid\action\admin

6. From directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62113:
o  Copy file WebSphere_Sensor_Events.IC62113.fxtag to directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\properties\version.
     

4.0 UNINSTALLATION
-------------------

1. From directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62113\backup:
o  Copy file dc_location_add.jsp to directory <WAS_PROFILE>\installedApps\<WAS_CELL>\IBM_WSE_Admin_Console.ear\ibmrfid_admin_webui.war\web\dc_location
o  Copy file DCLocationAction.class to directory <WAS_PROFILE>\installedApps\<WAS_CELL>\IBM_WSE_Admin_Console.ear\ibmrfid_admin_webui.war\WEB-INF\classes\com\ibm\rfid\action\admin

2. Delete file WebSphere_Sensor_Events.IC62113.fxtag located in directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\properties\version.
