A. How to use this document
---------------------------

  This PTF contains the message rule set for S.W.I.F.T. Standard Release 2009 
  (SR2009) changes. Since the S.W.I.F.T. SR2009 live date is currently planned
  for 21 November 2009, it must not be activated in a production environment 
  prior that date (see E3. Activation of the SR2009 message definition set). 
  However, installing this PTF does not automatically activate the SR2009
  message rule set so that you can apply it before the live date.

  This PTF copies the files that comprise the SR2009 message rule set. 

  This document assumes the following:
  
  1. The installation directory of Extension for SWIFTNet is 

       /opt/IBM
    
  2. The names of users, groups, files, directories, etc. are the same as 
     those used in the "Planning, Installation and Customization" manual.
     If you use different names, use those names instead of the names 
     shown here.


B. Changes to your current system
---------------------------------
   The following modules have been changed:
      <inst_dir>/dni_03_01/run/msg/dnicymsg.cat                   
      <inst_dir>/dni_03_01/run/res/dnicymsg.xml                   
      <inst_dir>/dni_03_01/run/classes/com.ibm.dni.msgstds.ibmapi.CommonMessageDomainService.xml   
      <inst_dir>/dni_03_01/run/classes/dnicvcks.jar
      
   The following are new modules:
      <inst_dir>/dni_03_01/run/classes/dnicvrls_sfmtxml09.jar
      <inst_dir>/dni_03_01/run/classes/dnicvcks_sfmtxml09.jar    
      <inst_dir>/dni_03_01/run/classes/com.ibm.dni.msgstds.defset.fin2009.xml   

     
C. Post-Installation
--------------------
 After you have installed this PTF:
   1. Share the files with your run-time systems.

   2. Ensure that the group ownership of the /opt/IBM/dni_03_01/run
      directory and all subdirectories and files therein is set to group
      dnilpp. To do this, enter the following command in AIX:

      chgrp -R dnilpp /opt/IBM/dni_03_01/run


D. Steps on a customization system
-----------------------------------

  No steps on the customization system required.


E. Steps on a run-time system
------------------------------

E1. Stop all WebSphere BI for FN message brokers

E2. Update the WebSphere MB environment
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 

  If you have configured the CLASSPATH environment variable in the broker
  configuration as described in "Planning, Installation and Customization"  
  the new message definition set libraries:

      <inst_dir>dni_03_01/run/classes/dnicvrls_sfmtxml09.jar
      <inst_dir>dni_03_01/run/classes/dnicvcks_sfmtxml09.jar    

  and the new configuration file:

      <inst_dir>dni_03_01/run/classes/com.ibm.dni.msgstds.defset.fin2009.xml

  are automatically recognized as soon as you restart the message broker.

 
E3. Activation of the SR2009 message definition set
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

  Note for production environment: 
  The S.W.I.F.T. SR2009 live date is currently planned for 21 November 2009. 
  Before this date the new message rule set should not be activated on a 
  production environment.
  The activation date for the message rule set for SR2009 is set in file:
  <inst_dir>dni_03_01/run/classes/com.ibm.dni.msgstds.defset.fin2009.xml   
  The activation date in this file is set to the planned S.W.I.F.T. SR2009 
  live date, 21 November 2009.
  You should not change this file in a production environment.

  Note for test environment: 
  For test environment the activation date can be changed in file: 
  <inst_dir>dni_03_01/run/classes/com.ibm.dni.msgstds.defset.fin2009.xml   
  The activation date in this file is set to the planned S.W.I.F.T. SR2009 
  live date, 21 November 2009:
     <entry key="activationDate">2009-11-21</entry>
  You can change the value according to your needs, for example:  
     <entry key="activationDate">2009-09-01</entry>


E4. Restart all WebSphere BI for FN message brokers

 PK91158      SWIFT SR2009: NEW CHECKS AND RULES FOR WEBSPHERE BI FOR FN
              MESSAGE VALIDATION.
              This PTF deliveres support for checking FIN messages 
              according to the S.W.I.F.T. Standard Release 2009.
