You use the New wizard in CICS® CM plug-in to
create the resource definition that can be installed in one or more
active CICS systems. Before
opening the New wizard you must select a group in the Groups view.
About this task
Restriction: Known Limitations in this release.
In the Create Definition wizard there is a Data Repository field,
that has content assist. If you press the Ctrl and space bar keys
together, when you are in the text box, you see a list of repositories.
In CICS CM, Ctrl and space
bar display repositories from only CICSPlex® SM,
so it does not display information for CICS CM and you cannot currently disable it.
Do not change the value in the repository after you have opened the
dialog. However, you can change the value in the resource group text
box in the dialog.

Results
The new resource is created with the default settings. If
the
Open editor check box was selected, the
new resource is opened in the editor. If the check box was not selected,
you can edit the resource from the specific resource view at a later
time.
