	A. How to use this document
	---------------------------
	
	This file describes how to install the SWIFTAlliance Gateway (SAG) Add-On
	3.1.0.1 PTF for APAR PM06491 on a SAG Release 6.1, or 6.3.
	
	This PTF replaces all previous SAG Add-On PTFs and APAR fixes.
	
	You can download the PTF from the following FTP site:
	http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
	
	Get the file for your SAG platform:
	  AIX: sag6sagaddon_v310_aix_PM06491.tar
	  Sun: sag6sagaddon_V310_sun_PM06491.tar
	  Win: sag6sagaddon_V310_win_PM06491.exe
	
	
	B. Change to your current system
	--------------------------------
	
	The SAG Add-On is completely replaced.
	A backup copy of the SAG Add-On profile 'dnfcssao.cfg' should be retained.
	
	
	C. Prerequisite
	---------------
	WebSphere Business Integration for Financial Networks Base V3.1.0 December 
	PTF (UK52899 for z/OS, UK51812 for MP) is required if SAG 6.3 is used.
	
	SAG 5 is not supported. SAG Release 6.1 or 6.3 is required.
	
	WebSphere MQ Client 6.0.2.4 or above is required.
		
	
	D. Installation
	---------------
	
	To be able to install this PTF you have to uninstall your previous version
	of the SAG Add-On. Before you do this, create a backup copy of the SAG
	Add-On profile 'dnfcssao.cfg'.
	
	Install the current SAG Add-On PTF as described in 'Planning, Installation,
	and Customization'. Instead of creating a new SAG Add-On profile you can
	reuse the backup copy you created before.
	
	
	E. APARs addressed
	------------------
	
	PM06491 Toleration of SWIFTNet 6.3 of SAG Add-On
	        In SWIFTNet 6.3, some of the SAG primitives have been changed. The
	        objective is to tolerate the changes, which means the SAG Add-On works
	        as before, and does not comprise any exploitation. Besides, the support
	        of SAG 5 is removed, so the SAG Add-On does not support SAG 5 anymore.
	        The FileAct event handler is removed as well, so the SAG Add-On will 
	        not retrieve FileAct related events.

  The list below contains information about known issues related to the 
  SAG Add-On and its installation:

  1. On AIX, when starting an attended installation in graphical user
  interface, the following text is displayed by the installation process in the 
  shell:

                          checkLockFile0ErrorCode
  WARNING: Could not lock System prefs. Unix error code 2.
  Exiting with exit code: 0

  This issue has no impact on the SAG Add-On installation.


  2. On AIX, the following text is traced in /var/tmp/wbifn31.sao.log after 
  installation finish when you do overwrite the same version SAG Add-On on 
  your system:
  ...................................
  Install Action:  Registering Websphere BI for FN SAG Add-ON into SWVPD
                   Status: ERROR
                   Additional Notes: ERROR - /usr/bin/sysck: 3001-049 Wrong file 
                   size.  The file ...
  ..................................

  This issue has no impact on the SAG Add-On installation.


  3. Do not run more than one instance of the installation program at a time.
