Description/symptom of problem: PM20791 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: This APAR will fix the missing WebSphere Virtual Enterprise Version 6.1.1 Fix Pack 2 centralized installation manager descriptors in the InstallPackageWXD611FP2.xml file. LOCAL FIX: None PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: Users who are using the centralized installation manager to install WebSphere Virtual Enterprise Version 6.1.1.2 PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The centralized installation manager cannot be used to install WebSphere Virtual Enterprise Version 6.1.1.2. RECOMMENDATION: Apply the fix provided by this APAR to place the Version 6.1.1.2 centralized installation manager descriptor at the proper location before using the centralized installation manager to install 6.1.1.2. The required Version 6.1.1.2 centralized installation manager descriptor files are missing from the InstallPackageWXD611FP2.xml file. As a result, the centralized installation manager cannot be used to install Version 6.1.1.2. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The Version 6.1.1.2 centralized installation manager descriptor files are added to the proper location, and the centralized installation manager can be used to install Version 6.1.1.2. This fix will be included in the next available fix pack for WebSphere Virtual Enterprise.
