This readme provides information about the patch available in this interim fix.

This fix can be installed on WebSphere Sensor Events 6.2.

Included in this interim fix

The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:

• IC74674: DB cleanup script returns SQL error.

Prerequisites

Microsoft Windows^® operating systems

• You must have Administrator access to update the WebSphere Sensor Events server.
• It is assumed that the WebSphere Sensor Events server is already installed.
• It is assumed that Location Aware Services is already installed.

Installation

Installation procedure for Microsoft Windows^® operating systems

1. Create a folder named maintenance in the WebSphere Sensor Events server C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID directory.
2. Unpack the .zip file, IC74674.zip, to the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance directory. The .zip file contains these files:
   • IC74674\ATLASDB_DEL_TAG_HISTORY_DATA.bat
   • IC74674\IC74674-readme.html
   • IC74674\WebSphere_Sensor_Events_LAS.IC74674.fxtag
3. Create a folder named backup in the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC74674 directory.
4. Navigate to the C:\LAS\DB2\Tools\History\ directory and copy the ATLASDB_DEL_TAG_HISTORY_DATA.bat file to the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC74674\backup directory.
5. Navigate to the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC74674 directory and copy the following file to C:\LAS\DB2\Tools\History\:
   • ATLASDB_DEL_TAG_HISTORY_DATA.bat
6. Navigate to the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC74674 and copy the WebSphere_Sensor_Events_LAS.IC74674.fxtag file to the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\properties\version directory.
7. Start the WebSphere Application Server.

Uninstallation

Uninstallation procedure for Microsoft Windows^® operating systems

1. Stop the WebSphere Application Server.
2. Navigate to the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC74674\backup directory and copy the ATLASDB_DEL_TAG_HISTORY_DATA.bat file to all previously updated directories.
3. Delete the WebSphere_Sensor_Events_LAS.IC74674.fxtag file from the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\properties\version directory.
4. Start the WebSphere Application Server.
