This readme provides information about the patch available in this interim fix.

Included in this interim fix

This APAR JR43170 for IBM Integrated Information Core V1.5 fixes issues with the IBM Eclipse Help System (IEHS). The following fixes pertain IEHS:

• P001414 XSS, File Path Traversal and Insecure HTTP methods
• P001538 Cross site scripting vulnerability found in deferredView.jsp
• XSS issue in searchView.jsp

Prerequisites

Prerequisites for Microsoft Windows^® operating systems

• It is assumed that IIC 1.5 Developer Standard, IIC 1.5 Developer Enterprise, IIC 1.5 Runtime Standard, or IIC 1.5 Runtime Enterprise has been installed

Installation

Installation procedure for Microsoft Windows operating systems

1. Download INTGINFOCRE-1.5-APAR-JR43170.zip in a directory C:\IICApars on the deployment manager
2. Unpack the .zip files in the above mentioned directory. The .zip file contains these files:
   • \ibm_help_win.zip
   • \JR43170-readme.html
   • \installing_the_doc.html
   • \IIC1.5_APAR_JR43170_Installation_Guide.doc
   • \INTGINFOCRE.1.5.0.0_ifix_JR43170.fxtag
3. Follow the instructions in the Installation Guide to install the cumulative APAR JR43170.
