Description/symptom of problem: PM70694 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: After enabling the task management service event log by setting the cell level custom property tmslog.enable=true and restarting the dmgr, the log file is created, but nothing is ever written to it. LOCAL FIX: None: PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of the visualization data service in WebSphere Virtual Enterprise Version 7. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The visualization data service log files do not contain any task management entries. RECOMMENDATION: None The visualization data service does not record task management events and reports NullPointerExceptions when attempting to process them.
