1. This Temporary Fix can be applied on WebSphere ILOG Rules for .NET version(s) 7.1.1.5. Ensure that your current installation is compliant.
   This action prevents technical problems that might occur after the installation and configuration of the Temporary Fix.

Before installing this Temporary Fix, perform the following steps:

1. Download the Temporary Fix to an appropriate location
2. Uncompress the Temporary Fix

Downloading the Temporary Fix to an appropriate location

Note the location of the downloaded file 7.1.1.5-WS-R4NET-WIN-IF021.zip, this file can be deleted after installation.

Uncompressing the Temporary Fix installation image

This Temporary Fix installation is compressed using zip.
Extract the Temporary Fix installation image in the folder Rule Studio for .NET.
A folder IF021 should be created.

To install the Temporary Fix:

1. Open a Visual Studio Command Prompt
2. Change folder to Rule Studio for .NET\IF021
3. Run the command: install

none.

After applying Fix 7.1.1 Fix Pack 5 Fix 21, you can go back to the original fix pack by following this steps.

To uninstall the Temporary Fix:

1. Open a Visual Studio Command Prompt
2. Change folder to Rule Studio for .NET\IF021
3. Run the command: uninstall
