WebSphere Sensor Events 7.0 | Software Interim Fix | APAR IC91948
About this readme file
This readme provides information about the patch available in this interim fix.
This fix provides a version of a new bundles file for the Intermec hand-held adapter. The new set of files allows the usage of the hand-held device as a simple barcode reader with no RFID reader capabilities
Included in this interim fix
The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:
- IC94013: The Datacapture and Mobile toolkit out of the box contain an intermec adapter bundle file that supports hand-helds to work with WSE. Some of the Intermec hand-held are built in a way that the RDIF reader is an external device, it can be paired to the Intermec PDA and used to trigger either the RFID reader and barcode reader, part of the PDA, in order to read RFID tags/barcode. A user has the options to use the intermec hand-held as a simple barcode reader when the external RDIF reader is not paired to the PDA.In this case, the barcode reader on the PDA can be triggered with a button located on the PDA itself. A system property has been introduced in the new version of this Intermec Adapter budles, that allows to specify if the RFID reader is associated to the PDA or not.
