This readme provides information about the patch available in this interim fix.
Included in this interim fix
This APAR JR50135 for IBM Integrated Information Core V1.5 fixes issues with/enhances the following functionality:
- IIC GWS (DB Adapter & OPC Adapters ) not returning data types.
- IIC GWS (DB Adapter) responses error code (CDIDS2003E) if a request contains some tags which have same physical tag name (measurement value name).

Prerequisites
Prerequisites for Microsoft Windows® operating systems
- 1. It is assumed that IIC 1.5 Developer Standard, IIC 1.5 Developer Enterprise, IIC 1.5 Runtime Standard, or IIC 1.5 Runtime Enterprise has been installed
Installation
Installation procedure for Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Download IICv15_APAR_JR50135.zip in a directory C:\IICApars on the deployment manager
- Unpack the .zip files in the above mentioned directory. The .zip file contains these files:
- \iic_dataAccessServices.ear
- \JR50135-readme.html
- \INTGINFOCRE.1.5.0.1_ifix_JR50135.fxtag
- Copy the IBM_Integrated_Information_Core.JR50135.fxtag file to the IIFClusterSharedDirArtifacts/fixtags directory. Create one if it does not exist.
- Stop the ear files pointed at the step 2.
- 1. Log in to WebSphere Application Server administrative console
- 2. Expand Applications
- 3. Expand Application Types
- 4. Select WebSphere Enterprise Applications
- 5. Select the check box of the applications
- Select IIC Data Access Service
- 6. Click Stop
- Update the IIC Data Access Services application:
- 1. Select IIC Data Access Services
- 2. Click Update button in the command bar
- 3. Click Replace the entire application option
- 4. Click Local file system
- 5. Click Browse
- 6. Select the iic_dataAccessServices.ear you have unpacked at the step 2
- 7. Click Open
- 8. Click Next
- 9. Click Next
- 10. Click Next
- 11. Click Next
- 12. Click Finish
- 13. Click Save
- Synchronize all nodes
- 1. Click System Administration in the Websphere Admin Console
- 3. Click Nodes
- 3. Select all nodes
- 4. Click Full Resynchronize
- Start the ear files pointed at the step 2
- 1. Login into Websphere Admin Console
- 2. Click Applications
- 3. Click Application Type
- 4. Click Websphere enterprise Applications
- 5. Select the check box of the applications
- 6. Click Sart
