PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A NullPointerException is thrown during the marshaling process in web service client. RECOMMENDATION: None The Web Service engine uses an incorrect algorithm when choosing a class loader for JAXBContext creation when the context class loader and web service class's class loader are different. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The Web Service engine algorithm has been corrected. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.5.
