Interim Fix installation instructions ======================================== a. Stop the stand-alone server or network deployment environment. b. Install JR51856 using steps that are documented in http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21417656 . Note that the interim fix must be installed for every Business Monitor installation that supports a network deployment environment. c. Start the stand-alone server or network deployment environment. 4. Post Installation Manager install instructions ================================================= Follow the steps below to set a JVM property that overrides the default sorting of the Instances widget. a. Login to the WebSphere administrative console. b. Navigate to the cluster member that is hosting REST Services or to the stand-alone server Java Virtual Machine settings. For a stand-alone server, for example, navigate to Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > > Java and Process Management (under the Server Infrastructure heading) > Process definition > Java Virtual Machine > Custom properties. c. Create a new custom property and specify a name of "com.ibm.monitor.instancesview.overridedefaultsort" (without the surrounding double quotes). d. For the value of the com.ibm.monitor.instancesview.overridedefaultsort, set it to true or false depending on the desired behavior. e. Save the changes to add the new com.ibm.monitor.instancesview.overridedefaultsort property. f. Restart the stand-alone server or network deployment environment for the property to take effect. 5. Uninstall instructions ========================= a. Remove the com.ibm.monitor.instancesview.overridedefaultsort custom JVM property by navigating in the WebSphere administrative console to the location mentioned in step 4b and then deleting the property. b. Stop the stand-alone server or network deployment environment. c. Using IBM Installation Manager, uninstall JR51856. d. Start the stand-alone server or network deployment environment.
