3. Interim Fix installation instructions                                   
========================================

a. Stop the stand-alone server or network deployment environment.

b. Install JR55387 using steps that are documented in http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21417656.  Note that the interim fix must be installed for every Business Monitor installation that supports a network deployment environment.


4. Post-installation instructions
=================================

A JVM property needs to be added to the servers or cluster members where the IBM_WBM_ACTIONSERVICES application is running.

a. Navigate in the WebSphere administrative console to Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > <select the server name> > on the Configuration tab choose Java and Process Management under the Server Infrastructure heading > Process definition > Java Virtual Machine > Custom properties.

b. Add a property named com.ibm.wbimonitor.actionmgr.ConnectWithNullUserAndPassword and set the value to true.

c. Start the stand-alone server or network deployment environment after adding the JVM property. 

          
5. Uninstall instructions

a. Stop the stand-alone server or network deployment environment.

b. Navigate in the WebSphere administrative console to Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > <select the server name> > on the Configuration tab choose Java and Process Management under the Server Infrastructure heading > Process definition > Java Virtual Machine > Custom properties.

c. Remove the com.ibm.wbimonitor.actionmgr.ConnectWithNullUserAndPassword property.

d. Using IBM Installation Manager, uninstall JR55387.

e. Start the stand-alone server or network deployment environment.
