Description/symptom of problem: PI70737 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: After applying WebSphere Application Server interim fixes for PI62375, the IBM Connections Desktop Plugin client fails to connect to Connections with HTTP error 405. LOCAL FIX: no work aorund at this time. PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Unnecessary setCookie header might be sent as a response of http GET request. RECOMMENDATION: None Due to a code defect, a setCookie header for deleting WASPostParam cookie from the http client might be returned even it is not required. This might be introducing an unexpected behavior. For instance, The IBM Connections Desktop Client Plugin client fails to connect to the Connections server due to HTTP error 405. This only affects the interim fixes that were published with PI62375. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: With this fix, the setCookie header is placed only if it is required. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.43, 8.0.0.13, 8.5.5.11, and 9.0.0.2.
